The Hudson Valley Farm Hub is seeking a Lead Miller to work as a member of the Community Food team to support the launch and operation of a new facility that will craft flour, corn, and bean products from local sources as well as serve as a center for research and education in the local food system. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Efficient and safe operation and maintenance of all aspects of the milling production line, including grain cleaning and conditioning, milling, bagging, and storage
  • Ensure product quality and workplace and food safety
  • Maintain parts inventory for milling equipment and needed milling materials
  • Manage and/or conduct equipment maintenance and repair
