Bienvenida a la primavera
Seasons blend together as winter shifts into spring across the farmscape. There is beauty in the changing of the seasons as we explore and discover wildlife tracks, and an assortment of buds including sycamore, red maple, and white ash. From a distance, we spot turtles and the return of Canadian Geese, as well as many other bird species. The Farm Hub, including our Farmscape Ecology team, created a photo series that highlights our findings.

The clearly defined long nails seen as small dots at the front of the print reveal these are of the striped skunk.
These raccoon tracks, found by the Esopus Creek, show their five long human-like toes used for anything from digging up insects to opening jars.
Yellow-bellied sapsuckers drill a line of holes to harvest sap.
Across the creek: Canada Geese return to the farm.

One of the oldest trees on the farm, a Red Maple, starts to show signs of new life as the temperature warms.
