The Native Meadow Trial is split into three plots: at two of the sites, seed mixes were planted in varying proportions of grasses to wildflowers, while a third control site was left fallow for comparison.
In 2020 the Native American Seed Sanctuary was renamed Kanenhaká:ion Tsiakwaiénthos: the Akwesasne Seed Rematriation Garden to further honor its roots.
