This lecture by renowned food historian, Dr. Jessica Harris, is based on her work in High on the Hog and Beyond Gumbo and uses traditional stories, historical data, and archival images.  The lecture will examine in words and pictures a few of the culinary connections between the African continent and the Western Hemisphere.
