Celebrating the 2018 Native American Seed Sanctuary Harvest

On November 10 friends, volunteers, and Farm Hub staff joined representatives from the Akwesasne community and Seedshed for a traditional harvest ceremony to celebrate the third harvest of the Native American Seed Sanctuary. Highlights included corn braiding, bean threshing, and tastings of traditionally prepared corn mush made with corn from the three sisters garden.

The Farm Hub is grateful for the ongoing collaboration with our partners that makes this special project possible.
