Wheat Trials
In these smaller grow outs, we test new wheat varieties to see if they are suitable for growing in our region. Promising varieties will then be trialed in our larger production fields and may eventually be added to our mainstay varieties.
Spring wheat is planted in the early spring and it is harvested in July.
